Sugita Co., Ltd., an umbrella manufacturer based in Osaka, was founded in 1936 and has been making and innovating umbrellas for over 80 years, making use of the skills of Japanese craftsmen. The current representative (third generation) is the grandson of the company's founder, Fukuma Sugita.
